Directional couplers are designed for construction of chain-structured antenna and feeder transmission lines on such radio fixation objects as subways, underground garages, high-rise buildings, sea ships, etc.

Directional couplers make it possible to partially withdraw energy from the feeder and service a small part of a subway or a room by means of a local antenna. Due to a wide service band, the directional couplers can be used in professional trunking communications of analog and digital standards (for instance, APCO25 and TETRA), and also, together with CDMA repeaters.
